McKamish was selected as the HVAC contractor for the Mt. Lebanon High School Additions and Renovations project.
The project included a new academic wing for sciences, athletic wing for the swimming pool, competition gym, auxiliary gyms and a locker facility. The HVAC contract included duct, piping, rooftop and indoor air handling units, cast iron sectional boilers, cool towers, centrifugal chillers and VAV boxes. With multiple prime contracts on the project, coordination of the trades for work in an occupied high school facility was a major challenge. With pre-planning and communication, the project was able to be coordinated with minimal disruptions to the students and faculty.
