McKamish was selcted as the mechanical contractor for the upgrades to NLMK's Hot Strip Mill Roll Coolant Project.

NLMK is one of the top 20 steel producing companies in the world. McKamish was contracted by NLMK to perform all the work for their Hot Strip Mill Roll Coolant Upgrade Project. McKamish fabricated, installed and tested the new system; from the pumps in the oil cellar to each of the six mill stands. The project also included new strainers, flow and pressure monitoring, automated valves, minimum flow devices and related hydraulic and pneumatic piping. The Hot Strip Mill remained fully operational during installation.
