McKamish was selected as the HVAC contractor for Phases 1 and 2 of the renovations to the University of Pittsburgh's Parran Hall.
The renovation to the school’s Graduate School of Public Health building consisted of upgrading the laboratory facilities and creating modern classrooms and common areas. McKamish designed and constructed six architectural stainless steel exhaust stacks for the Phase 1 mechanical penthouse. These stacks needed to be designed to control the sound from four exhaust fans that produce 32,000 CFM each and house ten other exhaust ducts and pipes while being architecturally symmetrical.
